Constru-Guía al día // Pro Construction Guide

I am very proud to have helped Silver Lake Media Group launch this bilingual pro-contractor magazine alongside a very talented group of people. My role included translation, copy editing and writer of a couple of features quarterly.

Launched in 2007, Constru-Guía al día was described as the first fully bilingual pro-targeted magazine in the U.S., and quickly rose to be the premier Spanish-language magazine in the construction industry. With a circulation of 298,000 at its height, by 2012 it became the largest circulation construction magazine in the United States in any language.

Constru-Guía al día was distributed free of charge at more than 1,100 Home Depot stores and 78 convenience stores. In addition, the Constru-Guía Tip of the Day daily syndicated radio vignettes ran daily on 115 Spanish language radio stations around the country, providing construction professionals valuable tips and expert advice.
